Privacy Policy | SonicClip
How SonicClip handles your account, photos and generated videos.
Last updated: 2026-10-28
Information we process
We process your account email, basic Google profile when you choose Google sign-in, uploaded photos, prompts, lyrics, generated videos, order and credit records, and technical logs needed for security and service delivery. Payment providers process payment details; SonicClip does not store full card numbers.
Why and with whom
We use this information to sign you in, generate and store videos, manage purchases, prevent abuse and respond to support requests. Photos, prompts and lyrics needed for generation are sent to our AI provider, EvoLink, and its underlying model providers. Cloudflare provides storage and email delivery; Google provides optional sign-in; the payment provider shown at checkout processes purchases. Providers may process data in other countries under their own applicable terms and safeguards.
Photos and retention
Input photos are scheduled for deletion about 24 hours after a task reaches a final state; unused uploads are scheduled for cleanup after 24 hours. Processing or unresolved tasks may retain their inputs until resolved, and cleanup may be delayed by technical failures. Generated videos remain available until you delete them or request account deletion. We may retain billing and security records where required by law or to resolve disputes.
Access and sharing
Uploads and generated files use private storage and time-limited access links. Anyone you give a share link to may access the shared video while sharing is enabled. Do not share private links with people you do not trust. Public demonstration assets are stored separately from user uploads.
Content reports and moderation records
When you report content or appeal a decision, we process your contact email, the content URL or task reference, your explanation, and any necessary evidence you provide. To investigate suspected violations, authorized personnel may review relevant uploaded photos, prompts, lyrics, generated content, and account or task records where necessary and lawful. We use this information to assess reports, enforce our Terms of Service, protect users and third-party rights, handle appeals, and meet legal obligations. Please do not send illegal material or unrelated sensitive personal data.
Access to report information is limited to personnel and service providers who need it for these purposes. We do not publish reports or routinely disclose a reporter's identity to the reported user. We may share the substance of a complaint where necessary for a fair review, and provide information to competent authorities when required by law or to address a serious safety risk where legally permitted.
Our normal photo-deletion schedule continues to apply unless specific material must be preserved for an active investigation, dispute or legal obligation. Such material is restricted to the review purpose and deleted when that need ends. We aim to delete or de-identify report correspondence and moderation records within 180 days after the case and any appeal are closed, unless a legal requirement, ongoing dispute or documented security need requires longer retention; retained records are reviewed for continued necessity. You may request access, correction or deletion through the contact below, subject to applicable legal exceptions and the rights of others.
Cookies and your choices
Essential cookies support authentication, security and language preferences. Google sign-in may use Google cookies. You can manage cookies in your browser, though disabling essential cookies can prevent login. You can delete videos in your library and contact us to request access, correction, export or deletion of account data, or exercise applicable privacy rights. We may verify your identity before acting.
