Terms of Service | SonicClip

Rules for using SonicClip and its AI video service.

Last updated: 2026-10-28

Using the service

By using SonicClip, you agree to these terms. You must be at least 18 and legally able to enter an agreement. Keep your account secure and provide accurate information. SonicClip generates AI rap videos from authorized photos and prompts; outputs can be unpredictable and are not guaranteed to reproduce a person, lyric or style exactly.

Your content and permissions

You retain rights you hold in your inputs. You grant SonicClip and its service providers the limited permission needed to process, store and deliver your requested content. Obtain consent from every person depicted and all necessary rights in photos, music, lyrics and other inputs. Any rights in AI output depend on applicable law and provider terms; we do not guarantee copyright protection, exclusivity or clearance for commercial use.

Content standards and prohibited categories

These standards apply to uploaded photos, prompts, lyrics, generated audio and videos, and content shared through SonicClip. Do not upload, request, generate or share any of the following, including AI-generated or simulated depictions:

  1. Pornography and NSFW sexual content: pornography, sexually explicit nudity, sexual acts, fetish content, sexual services, or non-consensual intimate imagery. This prohibition applies even when the depicted adults consent.
  2. Violence and gore: graphic injury, mutilation, torture, bloody or gruesome scenes, threats of violence, or content that encourages, glorifies or instructs people to commit violence or terrorism.
  3. Hate speech: content that promotes hatred, discrimination, dehumanization or violence against people based on protected characteristics such as race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation or disability; hateful slurs and extremist propaganda are also prohibited.
  4. Child exploitation and unsafe content involving minors: child sexual abuse material (CSAM), sexualization, grooming, exploitation, abuse or endangerment of anyone under 18. This includes fictional, altered or AI-generated depictions. Do not use minors' photos to generate videos on SonicClip.
  5. Deceptive deepfakes and impersonation: impersonating another person without permission, creating misleading endorsements, fraud, or content designed to mislead viewers about a real person's identity, speech or actions. Obtain consent from everyone depicted; labeling content as AI-generated does not make unauthorized or harmful impersonation acceptable.
  6. Copyright and trademark infringement: using photos, music, lyrics, logos, brands or other protected material without the necessary rights, or generating content that infringes copyright, trademarks, publicity rights or other third-party rights.

Other unlawful content, harassment, abuse, and attempts to evade safety controls, account restrictions or access controls are prohibited. Clearly identify AI-generated content where required by law or the destination platform. You remain responsible for reviewing outputs before sharing them.

Platform content moderation, reports and appeals

How to report. Report suspected violations or rights infringements to [email protected], using the subject “Content report”. Include the video URL or task ID if available, the suspected violation, a short explanation, and a contact email. Rights holders should identify the protected work and their authority to act. Provide only necessary, lawfully shareable evidence; do not download, attach or redistribute suspected CSAM or other illegal material. A link or identifier and description are sufficient to start a review. You do not need a SonicClip account to report content.

Review process. SonicClip handles reports through human review. We assess the report, inspect relevant content and available account or task records where necessary and lawful, and may request clarification or evidence of consent or rights from the reporter or account holder. We evaluate context against these standards and applicable law; a report alone does not establish a violation. AI providers may also reject requests under their own safety rules, but this does not replace our review of reports. We do not promise that every upload or output is reviewed before generation or sharing.

Response times and urgent cases. We aim to acknowledge reports within 3 business days and provide an initial decision or progress update within 7 business days of receipt. Complex cases may take longer; we will explain delays and provide a further update within 10 business days of the previous update while the case remains open. Suspected child exploitation, credible threats or imminent harm are prioritized, and we may restrict access while investigating. These are service targets, not a guarantee of continuous monitoring or emergency response. Contact local emergency services if someone is in immediate danger. We preserve or disclose evidence to competent authorities when legally required.

Actions and notice. Depending on the evidence, severity and recurrence, we may issue a warning, reject a generation request, restrict sharing or access, remove violating content, temporarily suspend generation or an account, or terminate an account for serious or repeated violations. We may revoke promotional or fraudulently obtained credits connected to proven abuse where permitted by law; a report does not automatically forfeit legitimately purchased unused credits. Any treatment of paid balances, cancellations or refunds remains subject to our Refund Policy and mandatory consumer rights. We notify affected users of the action, reasons and appeal route, unless doing so is unlawful or would compromise safety or an investigation. Reporters receive the outcome to the extent permitted by privacy and legal obligations.

Appeals. If you believe a moderation decision was incorrect, email [email protected] with the subject “Content appeal” within 14 days of the notice, quoting the video, task or report reference and providing your reasons and any relevant evidence. We reconsider the decision through human review, including new information, and aim to respond within 10 business days. If more time is needed, we will provide a progress update. We will correct an erroneous decision and restore access or eligible credits where possible and lawful. Do not submit knowingly false reports or retaliate against reporters.

Report information and review records are handled as described in our Privacy Policy.

Payments and credits

Prices, currency, credits and renewal terms are shown at checkout. Subscriptions renew on the displayed schedule unless canceled before renewal. Cancel through your billing page or contact support. Credits follow the validity shown for your plan and are not cash or transferable currency. Generation costs are quoted before submission. See our Refund Policy for failed tasks, cancellations and payment disputes.

Availability and responsibility

You are responsible for reviewing outputs before publishing them. We may restrict misuse, suspend accounts where reasonably necessary, or change the service. To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided as available without guarantees of uninterrupted operation or fitness for a particular purpose. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.

Contact and changes

For support, rights complaints or account requests, email [email protected] with relevant details. We may update these terms and will communicate material changes through the service or account contact where appropriate. Applicable mandatory consumer protections continue to apply.
